If I buy it, will it make the drive back to Utah?
It makes me want to put my Honda up for sale just to make the video classified. Too bad I promised myself no big purchases until the end of summer (that includes a house or new car, vacations excluded).
?Donde estan mis zapatos?
The pair of shoes (that DWB still has not guessed) are on their way. I guess he has until early next week to figure out what is heading my way from the north east. I have no idea why these are coming from that far away. They must have been sold out in the rest of the civilized continental 48 states. In any case, I hope they get here soon and I hope they fit because I don't want to have to send them back Vermont. Then again, that's what I deserve for being cheap (since when were $100 shoes considered cheap?).

Facebook is now stalking me (as a 'less-active' member)
It seems that when you don't log into Facebook after a while they start to worry about you. If you go a few weeks they start emailing you on a consistent basis (polite email above). I've heard from many RLF (Real Life Friends) that Facebook has encouraged them to re-connect with me. I just laugh and encourage them to re-connect with me in real life. For all of those FOF (Friends on Facebook) that have no idea how to get in touch with me, well, that's on purpose.
For anyone else out there planning to quit the Big Brother of Social Networking sites be warned, like a Kool-Aid drinking cult and those that are waiting for the flying saucer to take them away with the Hale Bopp (Bob) comet...they are watching (and ready to send automated emails to reactivate you into the fold).
*PS: Who on earth is tagging me in so many pictures?!

(Reformed) Shoe Whore
I just got rid of three pairs of shoes and need to replace them. I only have so much closet space in my little apartment so in order to justify new ones - the old, worn out ones have to go live on a farm out in the country where they can live out their remaining years like Old Yeller did.
I've already ordered one of these pairs and deciding on the others - at this point if they have my size and I can find them on sale I might as well buy them.
(Take a guess at which ones I already bought)

"Your iTunes Music Library is Corrupt – attempting to rebuild"
To top it off, my iMac decided to permanently cycle through Indexing my files so I couldn’t search for any files (kind of a big problem for me).
Three days of work and 3 libraries rebuilt and eventually all 3 corrupted themselves. The joys of turning to message boards and not always finding the best solution forced me to just figure it out. I managed to copy, delete, and reinstall files eventually getting things back to functioning order (a public nod to my inner geek).
In the end it all worked out, I’m more savvy with fixing my Mac (felt like I was back on a PC for a while). An unexpected surprise would be that my genius playlists changed (see pic above) but that came at the cost of losing all of my other playlists, song counts, AND ratings. Honestly, how am I expected to rebuild lists that have taken years to compile?
The glass is half full: Now I get to start from scratch and rediscover my music collection. It’s fun to flip through album art that I never paid attention to before. My iTunes fix also cured my infinite indexing problem.
Halle-freakin-lujah. The end.
