Are we there yet?

Call me Jesse Spano - I'm so excited [for the snow], I'm so excited [for December 4th]....I'm...so...scared [that I will miss opening day while in San Diego but will get over it].

Fun Theory & Driving

Yes, I might have have a led foot every once in a while. Yes, I have met my fair share of public servants with flashing lights on top of their car (& the ones that hide behind bushes on their motorcycles & others that sit on sidewalk benches holding their radar gun that looks a lot like a hairdryer).

Yes, I believe in having fun (I'm not implying that driving above the speed limit is fun) and I know that it has the power to redirect behavior. After 5 years working with teenagers in Houston I know this is a reality and can be applied throughout the adventure that I lovingly refer to as: Life.

When I came across the Fun Theory Project that VW was rolling out I thought "that's nice" but didn't give it much thought. The video below is egg on my face - it's great, I hope they keep it up (& I'd love to win the partial payout from all of the led foots that flew by me in the snow this morning).

Enjoy your Monday commute:

Utes 17. BYU 16.

By the grace of who knows what - we won. It 's not the most beautiful victory, not a shut out, not a clean and easy win BUT we will take it. End of season, end of the Mountain West Conference play - now it's time to think about a bowl game, focus on the when & where, it's road trip time.

I'm in LOVE

Santa, in case you are keeping up on my blog... this is a blatant request.

This 1932 Talbot 14/65 Boat Tail racer is going up for auction at Brooklands on Dec 4th. I can dream (with racing goggles). Who wants to pool some savings and head over to an auction next week in south London?!
